LASER HAIR REMOVAL

Laser hair removal will allow a thermo-coagulation powerful and deep enough to destroy the lower two thirds of the hair follicles. This action will result in permanent hair removal: the treated area will be sterilised and new hair will not be able to take root. The laser targets the melanin that colours the hair. The melanin contained in the bulb will absorb the laser energy and transform it into heat. In order to denature the “germinal zone”, laser hair removal makes it possible to produce a rise in temperature of the bulge and the matrix beyond the threshold of cellular coagulation (at least 150 degrees) while avoiding producing any lesion on the skin. This is called selective photo thermolysis.

NOTE

People present in the treatment room must wear protective glasses specific to the wavelength of the laser during the entire session. During the treatment a “hot tingling” sensation may be felt. At the end of each session, an antiseptic and soothing cream will be applied to the skin.
